Inside Perspective.jpg

If life is a party, the sideline of the party is the restroom. The message in this short film is one that emphasizes the importance of overcoming fears, doubt, mental turmoil, and addiction in order to live a fulfilled life. Cameos by Molly Wyldfyre and Brian Pitzer.

When I wrote Inside Perspective, I imagined a reality where the way people viewed life was played out in a nightclub. The people who chose to "live life" were carefree and danced and tumbled, painted, and expressed themselves freely. They are so caught up in the joy of life that they are not concerned with their shortcomings, failures, and disadvantages. On the other hand, those who were too caught up with the woes in their lives would find themselves trapped in a bathroom with others who also felt trapped in eternal self misery. Fortunately, wisdom is always there to lead and guide, if they would only take the time to listen to the calm, thought-provoking messages.

Just like wisdom in the bathroom of Inside Perspective, God sent the Holy Spirit to be our guide. His word says in John 14:26, But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

If you feel stuck, take a moment to really stop and listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say to you. If you listen close enough and put your fears to the side, you just might find yourself breaking free from your grief and living your best life.

Enjoy and Live Life!

About TJ >

I founded Lavelle Publishing in 1997 with the release of my first poetry book, The Desires of A Woman: Poems Celebrating Womanhood. I was 26 years old. I published my second book Sorority Sisters in 1998. Sorority Sisters was picked up by Villard Books, a division of Random House and rereleased in 2000. Over 80,000 copies have been sold. So much has happened in my life since the release of my first books. I am thankful for the twist and turns that has been my journey. My life lessons have made me wiser, more grounded and more secure in who I am. One thing that I have realized is that not only do I love to write, but I like to express my writing through different genres. As you explore my site, you will see what I mean.
